Electronics Rework Technician (BGA / PCBA)

Location: Fremont, CA 94539
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)


Overview

We are hiring immediately for an Electronics Rework Technician to support PCBA production and RMA repair in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

This role focuses on BGA and SMT rework, including component removal, replacement, re-soldering, and inspection. Candidates with hands-on electronics rework or SMT/BGA experience are strongly encouraged to apply.


What You'll Do

  • Perform BGA and PCBA rework on production and RMA assemblies
  • Remove and replace BGA, QFN, LGA, and other SMT components
  • Operate and support BGA/PCBA rework stations (SRT, AirVac, or similar)
  • Conduct visual, microscope, and X-ray inspections after rework
  • Document rework activity in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Request replacement parts from stockroom using approved processes
  • Follow ESD, safety, and quality standards at all times
  • Assist with additional rework or production tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with BGA or SMT rework in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with soldering, solder paste, flux, and reflow processes
  • Experience using rework or inspection equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Understanding of ESD practices and quality procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions

? BGA-specific experience preferred, but strong SMT/PCBA rework candidates will be considered


Education & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent industry experience
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
